All schools are fully accredited and have received a grade of "excellent," the highest grade attainable, from the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges.

The system boasts modern facilities, special programs for gifted and remedial students, low teacher turnover, and attractive class sizes.
In addition to academics, the system provides students with a wide range of extracurricular activities.
In 1986, an Adopt-A-School program was initiated.
The program partners schools with local businesses, community organizations, or individuals.
There are presently over 100 adopters in the program.
Educational opportunities on the college and vocational school levels are easy to find in the surrounding area.
Just north in Atlanta, students can attend such schools as Emory, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, and Mercer.
Atlanta, Griffin, LaGrange, and Carrollton all offer vocational training at their technical schools.
